Basic technology support
Each room has a ceiling mounted data/video projector, sound amplifier and speakers, VHS video player, connection for a laptop computer, and wall panel to control the system. There is no permanently installed computer in the TECs I.

Media Services has laptop computers available for use in these rooms. Contact the Wheatley ITC Media Lab
(W 1-139) at 287-5966 or the McCormack ITC Media Lab (M 2-112) at 287-5965 for more information.

Advanced Technology Support
Rooms have everything available in TECs Level I as well as: a Dell (Windows XP) and a
Macintosh (OS X) computer installed in a teaching console; digital document camera; DVD player; laserdisc player, and a control panel to select which device will display on the projector.

All TECs have a telephone installed and a help line number for instant assistance if you have difficulties with the technology support system. TEC support staff is available from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM Monday Friday. The TEC support staff is available to assist with problems in the TECs only and cannot assist with technology problems outside of the TECs.
