This room seats 30 students and has a complete video production studio in the rear of the room. The equipment provided augments distance learning for either MPEG or Video Conference transmission. The room is equipped with remote control cameras, ceiling microphones and a speaker system that is utilized for MPEG or video-conferencing broadcasts. In addition, the room is equipped with large screen video projection and can display images from a MAC, PC, LAPTOP, VCR, DVD, Electronic Whiteboard or document camera. The instructor or presenter has a touch screen, that enables them to have complete control of the equipment in the room: including the cameras and videoconferencing equipment. As with all of our distance learning classrooms, we have also installed high-speed Internet access, a fax machine, and a speakerphone for audio conferencing
